The original photo was 3 3/4 x 5 1/2 " The photo was scanned, a few minor repairs were made and features enhanced.

The original small portrait was only 2 3/4" x 3 inches, which included the embossed border that had been badly damaged. (Shown at 150% to emphasize flaws)
Restoring, repairing the border and enlarging the portrait to 8 x 9 1/4" makes the details in this treasure worthy of display. (Shown at full size)
There was little standardization on photo sizes at that time. This original was 13 1/2 x 8 1/2 (shown here at 50%)
Restoring, leveling, lightening and cropping allows this photo to more easily to be printed and framed for today's 10 x 8 standards (shown here at 50%), while still retaining it's original charm.
The original photo was about 2 1/2 "x 4". Restored and repaired, the image is now 4"x6" and retains the decorative border that was so popular on prints of its time.

One of the few remaining photos of a dear uncle seen as he would want to be remembered...fishing.
